The Sun is just like another star but is very important for the survival of all species on earth by providing solar energy. The sun makes energy by a process called nuclei fusion. Nuclei fusion in the core of the sun is when hydrogen atomic nuclei collide with each other to form helium nuclei and this releases energy.
