      Thanks for you question. My work is focused on a particular protein that is called a tumour suppressor, i.e. it protects normal cells from cancer. I have found this protein can protect the cell’s DNA from getting broken and mutating. This helps to protect cells from getting the mutations that can cause cancer.

      Many other scientists are working on cancer, and there are many new treatments being developed all the time!
