• Question: Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?

      The second one, you can still keep in touch with a good friend that moves away. A lot of my close friends from university live far from me now but I still talk to them lots!

      You’d probably feel worse when a good friend moves away. Psychology research tells us that we are unhappy when we lose control… (over relationships etc..). When you lose touch with a good friend near you, it probably means you have different interests and the loss of control is much smoother.
