• Question: what makes a good scientist?

      To be a good scientist you need to inquisitive, highly motivated, fair and a good problem solver.

      Yeah, I agree.
      Once you’ve got ‘inquisitive’ I’d say that you need to be creative, logical and have lots of perseverance to see things to completion.

      I think the key to being a good scientist is being objective, so to not go into it without any preconceptions of what you think you will find. This is really hard though and most people have in mine what they want to find out.
