      Helium – doesn’t hurt anyone (inert) and light – only two protons and two electrons (gives me a feeling of freedom!)

      Gallium, it’s a metal that if you super-cool it (which is really easy to do) then it stays liquid at room temperature. It also reacts with aluminium so if you put it on a coke can you can shatter the can in your hands which is awesome. I’ve got some at home just for playing with, and I’m not even a chemist. You should ask your teacher if they can get some for the classroom.

      Radium because it was discovered by my favourite scientist Marie Curie.
