  I use MATLAB, and I’m learning some C++. I know some C. I wasn’t a programmer when I started my PhD about 2.5 years ago, so it’s been a learning experience.
  I really need to learn more languages. I think C++ is the best I’ve come across so far. I don’t really know Visual Basic. MATLAB is very high-level, so too easy to use, it’s not real programming, but you can do a lot of really great stuff with it.
