• Question: what is the most useful peice of technology that you use and why is it so useful?

      Computers, I use macs to run my experiments, to analyse my data and then to write it all up and present it as well. I suppose I use an awful lot of sound equipment too to record my participants.

      I use a big and quick microscope attached to a robot, that allows me to scan dishes I have put my cells in. I can look at thousands of cells using this equipment and the robot means I can be left alone and I don’t have to stand there for hours!
