Question: what do you think the most important thing is about app-making?

The most important thing is to have a good understanding of how the app will add value to its users’ life. The same principle applies to any product – you need to add value to someone’s life (and possibly yours indirectly if the app sells well).

Other things like the design of the app, the information it gives you, the entertainment it provides all help add value in the end.
