Question: How was science to you? Was it like an amzing other world or just another subject that wasnt that interesting until you found how cool it is.

  When I was at school I actually found English and art more interesting, hence why I did a degree in linguistics. It wasn’t until about half way through my degree I discovered just how awesome and useful science can be.

  I loved learning science at school, chemistry was my favourite subject at secondary school. But I hated the practical work, I found it very boring and pretty pointless. It wasnt unti I got some real experience working in lab that i realised how cool science experiments can be. That you can find something new instead of doing something that has been done hundreds of times before!
