      Yes, definitely. I use maths everyday in my work, from simple molarity calculations to complicated statistics. Science allows gives math real world applications, making it less of a theoretical subject.

      Biology depends on maths less, Chemistry uses it more, Physics uses it loads. There is a move toward using more maths in science, and making science more important for maths. Also computing has become very important for science and maths.

      You need maths (algebraic or logic) to do most if not all kinds of science… maths is an essential tool and is always being advanced by research itself.
